History

No description of Miami would be complete without mentioning its history. Miami is the biggest city in Florida, and while Miami is often referred to as Miami Beach, they are actually two distinct towns.

• Miami is one of the first cities in modern-day America, established in 1896.
• It has become one of the largest tourist spots in the United States.
• It is a refuge to Cuban immigrants who escaped oppression in nearby Cuba.

Climate

Miami’s pleasant year-round weather makes it a perfect place for outdoor activities.

• It is hot and humid, which makes it an ideal spot to kick back and pamper yourself.
  
• During Miami’s winter, you can expect mild days and nights. Temperatures range from 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
  
• During the rest of the year, the climate ranges from 80 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and you can expect tropical weather -- high humidity and regular ocean winds.
