Location

On a barrier island on Biscayne Bay, about seven miles south of Miami, you’ll find "The Village of Key Biscayne," which is more than one square mile in area. The village is near Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and Miami-Dade County Crandon Park. Nearby cities include Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, South Miami, Pinecrest, West Miami, Glenvar Heights and Coral Terrace -- all of which are less than 10 miles away.

The Beaches

Snowy white sand and clear blue waters are sure to capture your attention and help you to escape at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park. Popular activities include taking photos of this natural wonder, relaxing under the palms trees, and playing with children in the fountain or on the playground gym. Crandon Park is also a favorite and is considered one of the country’s first-rate beaches. Crandon Park offers many recreational spots, and models and movie producers often take advantage of the beach's natural beauty. Fun things to do include visiting the baseball field, life-guarded beach, outdoor skating rink, picnic spots and volleyball courts. A new, improved carousel is up and running, too.
